Myrrick was orphaned as a little boy and at age 12, would gain a new home and family after saving then 10 year old Echo from falling into an old well on the Silverman property after Echo's father had the local boys home invited out for a day of fun on his farm.

Echo and Myrrick as they grew up together, would eventually start dating in high school and they had dreams of getting married one day.

Myrrick, however wanted to see more of the world after graduation and planned to study abroad for a year or two. ​However, before graduating high school, he found out that Echo wasn't normal. But he soon came to realize how serious this reality was after he went to study abroad and Echo disappeared in his absence. 

​

His return trip home became the moment he'd go down a proverbial rabbit hole to get her back, and more obstacles than he'd have thought possible would stand in his way.
