Concord was sent away after his mother was killed in an incident linked to King Sincere Mothia, and has spent the past six years in knight training. Upon his return, he was overjoyed to see that his childhood friend Lachrymosa was still alive as he didn't get a chance to say good-bye before he was sent off.

Between the loss of his mother, the betrayal of King Sincere followed by the threat to Sturm Kingdom, and then Severis, Concord's father, choosing to swiftly put an end to the situation by storming Mothia Castle, Concord had struggled to process it all, then hearing that not only was Lachrymosa was missing, but a year after the siege, Honnor was killed in a bandit attack. Concord felt like his world had collapsed in on him.

Now, he's just grateful that he still has his father, and Lachrymosa, too.
